As I grew and developed my portfolio, I did everything.

I figured out which houses would make the best investments with my homemade Excel spreadsheets
I became a real estate agent and broker so I could get a cut of the properties I was buying
I did all the work fixing up the property once I bought it, demo, drywall, flooring, kitchens, baths, you name it, I did it
Once the house was fixed up, I did all the marketing, showings, tenant screening and leasing
Once the tenant moved in, I did all the property maintenance, rent collection, and maintenance requests
When tenants moved out, guess who fixed up the unit, cleaned it, and found a new tenant to move in?
I tracked all the income and expenses from all the units in a google docs spreadsheet
I even did my own taxes on Turbo Tax for a long time (that was the first job I hired out!)

You get the picture. I did it all!

I created Victor and Markus to be in my image. This platform is me! It does everything I do. My full name is Joseph Victor Thon. I was named after my maternal grandfather, Victor Markus. This platform is me but it's really a tribute to my grandpa. I am a unique blend of the people who created me. Victor and Markus are a tribute to those people.

The story

Why We Built Victor

The idea for Victor started with a simple frustration: managing rental properties required juggling spreadsheets, multiple apps, email chains, and physical filing cabinets. Every task that should have taken minutes stretched into hours.

We talked to hundreds of property owners, investors, and managers. The same themes emerged: financial tracking was a nightmare, project management with contractors was chaotic, and there was never a clear picture of overall performance.

Existing solutions were either too expensive, too complicated, or didn't actually solve the core problems. So we built Victor, a platform that brings everything together in one place, with transparent pricing and a user experience that just makes sense.

Today, Victor helps property owners save time, reduce costs, and make better decisions with their real estate investments.
